To aid in mass rescue SCENARIOS,
and to help close the capability gap,
we are designing mass rescue tools.

Testing LIFBOAT, the mass rescue tool, with Swedish Sea Rescue Society (SSRS)

in Mölle, South of Sweden

We Help Save Lives

World wide drowning,
The third largest killer in the world of accidental deaths.

— Mass rescue situations — near coastlines — out on open ocean — in floods — breaking ice —

— cooperating ships of opportunity — rescue organizations — helicopters — fast rescue boats —

— emergency preparedness — to take a person out of the water — The rescue tool - LIFBOAT —

V I S I O N

The vision for Lifboat

This project is aimed to help people in the water.

An emergency operation is defined as a mass rescue situation when there is not enough resources to help the amount of people in danger.

With the intention to help rescue organizations decrease the capability gap, this project was started. The process have given birth to a product development of a mass rescue tool scaleable to the size of situation.

The world have been shown greater disasters than ever, where not enough resources to save lives have been existing. There is an urgent need of innovation and product development to help save lives in the water.

Mass Rescue Scenarios
Blue water rescue — Coastline — Floods

h o w

— Helicopter felt it was safe, could barely flip it. Rescue Swimmer could roll a person on to the raft, and launch and land from it.
— Experienced and inexperienced easily entered.
— This Rescue boat did 34 knots without raft, and 34 knots with raft.

— Can easily be moved with a Rescue Runner, even run up on to the raft.
— Works as an extension to rescue boats, attached parallel it can accurately be aimed to the rocks and help people. Durable material.
— Tested to 2.5 meters hight, as a slide. Also makes it possible to enter and exit and do transfers in-between different size boats or from boat to land.

Lifboat in waves, to show how it flows with the water in breaking waves.
AND to show that a little dinghy with 5 horse power engine can pull the Lifboat out, and therefore increase the rescue capacity in challenging scenarios where only small vessels are available.
It is also cost effective to use smaller boats, and with Lifboat still have capacity to help many people.

To scale up the rescue capacity and help decrease the capability gap.
The next product in the series, a mass rescue platform, the Lifboat is the foundation, and fits together as a natural pattern.
Serial connectable to scale to the size of the rescue situation.

In the factory, located in Lofoten/Vesterålen in the North of Norway.
— Lifboat is designed with several air-chambers, which can be inflated again and again.
— Packable to the size to fit a eu-pallet and two persons can cary it onboard a vessel.
— Designed to be easily mass produced and re cycled.

Cathrine - Field coordinator in Aegian and Mediterranean Sea.

“ .. I’m very excited that finally somebody has come up not only with the idea, but is actually doing something like that, and it’s about time to continue working on solutions to help save lives.”

Ruben - experience with saving lives with rescue tents.

“ .. There is tools that are designed for the case when a big passenger ship is sinking, then you have the one way life raft, but we need a tool that is reusable again and again. ..We tried to find something, we found some white water rafts we used to tow. .. It would be great to get some tool like this as soon as possible because the tragedy is going on every day. “

Hellenic Rescue Team

“ Mr Hallin presented his project “Flower Of Water”, which we found very promising and extremely useful for organizations which provide Search and Rescue services at sea. The idea that is being developed by Mr Hallin can support SAR teams in Mass Rescue Operations.. We were very glad to meet with Mr Hallin and get to know about this interesting project, that is close to our needs and we expect the test of the prototype with great optimism.

Rune - Captain at RS Sundt Flyer

“ We could easily go with the raft to the people in the water, and the people in the water could easily, very easily, climb ombord. I am actually very positively surprised that it worked so good as it did, that it was so easy to maneuver it with the rescue boat. ..fantastic tool to use while handling mass rescue scenarios in the ocean.”
